Please let me know if anyone here has owned or shot an MA-1 Steyr pistol in 40 S&W and what your experience has been with it. Thanks in advance for the advice.

I bought one recently, low bore axis, good grip angle but too smooth, more accurate than Glock.

The Steyr M9 is a very accurate pistol, comfortable to shoot and easy to handle.

Here is one, its cousins and its direct competitors.

Steyr M9 A1 equiped with night sights and a Streamlight laser.

New service pistol Caracal F and the compact pistol Caracal C

Walther P 99 and Walther P 99 C, both with Quick Action trigger. The compact pistol is equiped with Meprolight night sights.

Just noticed the complaint about smooth grip. The old one was smooth like a bar of wet soap, the one in the picture I posted is not.
