anyone out there shoot a glock 34? if so, how's it compare to other "target style" 9mm's?

I have been looking for a browning HP 9mm to have worked over into a slick target pistol, but have also been considering a STI and a kimber, all 9mm to target shoot with...so I was just wondering.

Well, no one has answered your post, so I will attempt to. I do not have a Glock 34, however I know something about target pistols. If you are looking for a real target pistol in 9mm then the S&W 952 is probably your best bet, unless you want to spring for a Sig. I have the model 52 (38. Spl) and it is about as good as it gets. Other than pure accuracy, target pistols have excellent (target) sights and superb triggers. I doubt whether your Glock 34 has either.

I had a Glock 35 in 40 S&W and had a 9mm barrel to go with it. Never tuned it up or anything, but it shot WAY better than my ability. Great gun and good balance. This from a guy who doesnt like glocks normally.
