I've had a standard P365 for awhile now. Find it to be a real nice little carry gun. Light, small and comfortable in appendix carry. Pretty snappy in recoil, though, given its weight and barrel length.

Just added the "new" P365 X Macro with the so-called integral compensator in the slide, designed to reduce felt recoil. In my mind, it does absolutely nothing in that regard. I have no way of measuring the difference between the two models, but to my touch, there is almost no difference in felt recoil.

Nevertheless, I like the P365 design and prefer it over any of the other similar-sized pistols.
