Gents, I am about to inherit a FN/Browning 1922 in 7,65Browning/32acp and wonder when it was made and the accuracy potential of it. I think it is in good condition and the serial number is 120xxx with stamps for smokeless powder and something that might look like a norvegian lion on the slide and frame. I have read in one place that all guns under 200xxx serial number is pre ww2, but in another that they are not, so there is conflicting information here. I have read that the "lion" stamp indicates usage by norvegian army after they took it from the germans at the end of the war. Will try to get some pictures for it. It would be nice if it could give 2" or less groups on 25 yards, because then I can compete with it. Sincerely Daniel | ||
