After a good bit of feedback on this forum, I have decided on a Ruger SBH Hunter with Bisley grip in .44. I was quoted $599 by my local shop. I don't think they're doing me any favors. This sounds a bit high. Anyone have an opinion? Thanks.

If its the blue model, its right on par with the Ruger catalog, though his price is 4 bucks more. I was wanting one when I picked one up at Gander a year ago, but that one was stainless, they go for 715 with the black laminate grips. They are very nice, IMHO. Jay
