I just purchased a High Standard Crusader in a .45 Colt cal. My qusestion is would this gun take the loads listed for a Ruger or a Thompson Condenter??

If ya want a 44 mag, buy one.

If this is the big N-frame they used to make, it can use the same pressure loads that the 44mag can. I would certainly work up to them though & realize that running ammo above pressure limits of the cartridge WILL accelerate wear on the gun.
