Thinking about a laser sight for my 1911. What are the thoughts on rail mount vs grip. Some rail mounts have a tactical light with the laser.

What are your thoughts? What is the hot setup? Appreciate your input.

I think the grip types give you a lot more versatility in holster selection. They tend to be more compact also.

If its just a house gun then the tact light laser could be very useful.
