Anyone here own and use an S&W 945. I kind of like the lines on them and I've looked at them for a number of years. Recently, the prices seem to have come down on Gunbroker listings - I guess they didn't catch on and the distributors are moving them out. From the little I've heard, the S&W Custom Shop does a good job, but I wondered how these pistols compare to 1911 style pistols at similar price points.

i've had one for awhile now. Typical of S&W autos it will function with most anything you can fit into the clip. accuracy is better than my 70 series gold cup for a comparison. I am prone to favor S&W stuff, but the 945 is a art work.
