Bill Grover was from Lancaster, Ky right outside where I live, and one of his childhood friends owns one of these guns.

I’m hoping I am going to get see it, and hopefully take some pictures.

They are going to ask me what I think it is worth, and my guess is about $8,000-10,000.

Those got a lot of press and praise back in the day -- and fully deserved, by all accounts.

I ordered one from Bill in 2003 after a visit and tour of his shop. Retail then was $985 which is what I paid. Today, unless more than the base gun, they seem to sell in the $4-5K range. The only upgrade done to mine was a serial number to my birthday and my name engraved on the backstrap. I wish I had bought gold...

I handled a couple of them, I did not care for the shape of the grips.

Everything else is ok.

In my mind the BFR, Freedom and Ruger Bisleys are a superior design.

Neat gun, neat story, execution for me isn't what I am looking for.
