I like the Blackhawk Serpa lock holster for my Kimber 1911.

I use a CR speed holster for my .40 CZ TS and a safariland leather for my CZ 75.
I agree that the these new holster are ugly but the work well.
Ghost holster are very popular but personly I dont like them as I have seen alot of people drop there guns from them.
look at rescomp.com for the cr speed it works very well

Juan, as a High Power shooter I generally check out who has what gear and how it works for them. If it looks like useful gear and they seem to like it I'll give it a try. I know a few guys who like the Serpa's but it isn't my style of shooting.

Juan, I compete in IDPA & ISPC and I use the blawkhawk holsters for my Glocks in both events. Also use my Fobus carry holster or Sidearmour IWB for IDPA matches.

I don't think you need a Kydex type holster to compete in IDAP. There are many high quality leather rigs that I prefer over any Kydex. Kydex has it's benefits in being unaffected by the elements, but for CCW or IDPA competition, why? Check out leather gear from DeSantis, Galco, Don Hume, G&G, ElPaso, etc.
