Greetings from Anchorage, the 5.7 ballistically is a tad over a .22 Magnum tho it is a very accurate platform (both the bullpup P-90 and the pistol).
Do a search? I do believe there's a FN forum.

Our highway patrol and the presidential escort are armed with the P90 SMG's. They chew through a car but have minimal stopping power. Since almost nobody in Africa wears Body armour why they bought the P90's to replace the H&K MP5's I have no idea.

I notice that the police on roadblock duty (who might have to use their gun) are drawing old UZi's and sterlings again in preference to the P 90.

Fortunately the presidential escort don't have a choice and have to carry what looks flash! The only thing I have noticed with the actual shooting sceens of the P90's is that the holo sight makes a big difference and the police using one usually hit what they are shooting at!

The pistol is extremely fun to shoot, with very light recoil. Accuracy is great. Ammo price is too high. I'd give it some time and see if the caliber survives. wk

In FN's 5-7 pistol, it's a incredibly accurate and light recoiling combination, I have no trouble hitting targets out to 100 yards with this thing. The ballistics on this little cartridge isn't exactly impressive out of the pistol, however it's a fun little combination. Love taking that thing out on squirrel hunts back in Kodiak, albeit it's a mite loud.
In the P-90, a rifle which I do have a year's experience with, it's a rather lethal combination. It's a extremely ergonomic design and combining a reasonably flat tradgectory and low recoil, I find it incredibly deadly. I wouldn't want to use such a combination against a man wearing armor however.
The PS-90 is something I'd like to get ahold of, it would be rather unique. I imagine the longer barrel might screw up the balance a bit but in turn, giving a bit better ballistics and maybe better accuracy. Given it's only semi, I wouldn't use it for a PDW. Hunting and plinking however, hell yeah!
