Remington XP-100
Looking at buying a Remington XP-100,anyone here currently shooting one?
Comes with 200 rounds of primed brass any idea on loads?
Add info it has the standard 10.5 inch barrel and the caliber is 221 Fireball.
Not my first choice of caliber for an XP, but none the less an excellent round. The 221 does fine in the 10" tube too. A fellow I shoot with can't get anything over a 45 grain bullet to satbilize, so you might keep that in mind.
Shooting one, no, 4 or 5 yes I am guilty. I don't have as much use for long guns as I did a few years ago.
I don't have any loads to point you towards, but a phone call to Sierra should do the trick. My 221 is a carbine I had built for my son. He is not as picky as I am so load development has not went to far.
XP's are addictive, so consider yourself warned.
