I have owned 4 Glocks since 1989 and have always thought they were a great pistol. I have friend that had two Glocks and switched to M&P's because the have the adjustable grip panels and the better fit at the range. After trying his Smith's I too have got rid of all the glocks except for my Glock 26. The M&P's are a great fitting and accurate auto that functions perfect. Has anyone else fell prey to a better pistol design other than the Glock?

Over on GlockTalk there is a growing cadre of folks who think that the M&P's have better ergonomics than the Glocks. I have two Glocks, a 17 and a 17L I have no intention of selling either. I also have an S&W Sigma in 40 S&W and have no intention of selling that either! Not sure I would say that the S&W was a better pistol design. The similarities seem to be more than the differences!

Why are you keeping that Glock? Reason I ask is I own a G33. Same pistol, different caliber.

The new Gen4 Glocks may satisfy your desire for an adjustable grip. Have you tried them?

I have a CCP and still think the compact Glock is an excellent choice. I thought about trying the Gen 4 Glocks, could not find one to try and the M&P compacts seem to work well for me.

THE M&P's are great pistols but I won't sell a Glock to buy one as yet.

I have two Glocks and 3 M&P's. Like the M&P's so much that they're my carry guns.

I actually prefer the XD to the Glcok & the M&P is ok, but haven't shot one enough to decide if I liked the trigger, but the grip is definitely better IMO.

A shooting buddy of mine has just bought a 4th gen Glock 17 as a carry/range gun. the new grips are very good, very like the ones on the M&P, they also now have a double main spring and the WORST trigger I have ever felt in my life!!! it makes the new york trigger feel like a match trigger!! Eeker
