Anyone bought one of these yet? I found a model 57 in a 4", I have been looking, locally for over a year for an older model 57 but that are scarce! So I am thinking about the new 57, in the classic, it looks good, but has the hammer lock and is priced more than a an older model.

i'd keep looking, but do be aware that in the early 70's some of the 57's came out with excessive cylinder gap and S&W recalled them. there might be some out there yet that wern't fixed. they spit unburned powder out the gap
