i have had one in 45lc for over a year. and have put over 3000 rounds of 250 jhp and 255 cast down range.

i have also owned 2 s&w mod 25s . i feel that the tracker is just as good as the smith, to prove it the tracker is my CCW gun with 4in brl.

I can't comment on the gun, but I can back your desires for a 45 LC. I just bought a 45 LC Ruger Vaquero and it is an absolute pleasure to shoot. Good luck with your purchasing and happy shooting.

Be careful with the Vaquero's the new ones will not take heavy loads like the old model will.
