I was looking at getting a walther PPS in .40 caliber. Does anyone have experience with this gun and how much recoil it will have. Lets say for a woman that is 110 lbs. She shoots my kimber and Para .40 cals.

IF she shoots the 40 no trouble with the ppk. The only trouble that I find that women have with small simi autos is having enough hand strenght to pull the slides back on them. Small sildes small frames strong recoil springs can make it hard for some operate them.

Little mad I didn't catch the spelling in the thread title. Obviously, should say walther. I actually went and looked at a PPS this last weekend and she could pull the slide back without a little work, but couldn't release the slide. I also had the salesman swear up and down the gun won't handle +P ammunition. I thought it was designed to handle this, am I wrong? If it won't handle it, I will be buying a CZ.
