A guy at the club told me he had a Judge and didn't like it. I bought it from him for $75 less than he paid. I got a nice silver dollar group with 230 FMJs, 230 RNLs and 255 RNFPLs at 10 yds. .410 X 2.5s open up very quickly to about a 12" pattern at about 6 ft. Seems like it would make a nice hunter's combo pistol with the ability to fire large bore handgun ammo as well as shot for snakes.

I've heard they were pretty good shooters.
I considered one as a grouse-getter, but by your results it may just be a snake gun??

I had a marlin 444P that I loaded shotshells for and the results were similar.

It would be nice if the judge had a choke you could remove like the TC contender 45/410s had...

I was just thumbing through a Taurus catalog. I thought these were all in 2 1/2 " models, but i see thye have a 3" .410 listed...........
