I just bought a new Ruger "New Vaquero". It does not have a color case frame, which is okay with me, but I thought they all came that way. Has Ruger stopped producing ALL Vaquero's with color case frames or is it just the model I got? I bought mine "online" so I could not really tell from the pictures what finish the frame had. Maybe I got the "economy" model? Very nice gun though (blue, 45 LC, 7 1/2" barrel) and $418.00 shipped was a lot less than I had expected to pay.

I believe it was a distributer special run model. They are nice looking and hardly an economy model. I think it might have been one of the Lipsey's models. Enjoy it, and the price was good too.
