I inherited a Colt Official Police revolver in 22lr from my father. From the serial number I believe it was made in 1945. Wondering if it is worth anything and if I should add it to my insurance policy? Good Hunting,

Assuming decent condition, it is worth around $500 or a bit more, since all Colts seem to have gone up lately. Whether that makes it worth paying insurance on it is your call. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

That little horse on the grip has commanded a price for quite some time.Considering that it was from your father, your value is established to YOU. Insurance can not repay that. Never mistake motion for action.
