I inherited a Colt Official Police revolver in 22lr from my father. From the serial number I believe it was made in 1945. Wondering if it is worth anything and if I should add it to my insurance policy?

Assuming decent condition, it is worth around $500 or a bit more, since all Colts seem to have gone up lately.

Whether that makes it worth paying insurance on it is your call.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

That little horse on the grip has commanded a price for quite some time.Considering that it was from your father, your value is established to YOU. Insurance can not repay that.
