Juan, just how accurate is "extremely accurate"? Any 25 yard targets?

Thanks Juan! Wink, on a different forum, here on AR, referred to a CZ SP01 called the "Mamba". Ever heard of it? Wink is in France. I would be interested in seeing how your Shadow shoots off the bench.
Peter

Knowing Juan as I do I am sure he does not exaggerate on this new pistol. Juan shoots more than most chaps I know and shoots exceedingly well. My CZ75 is very accurate as well, and I believe the new SP01 will outperform it. thumb The only thing I believe I can outperform him in is eating costillas..... animal

It may be that the Mamba version of the SP01 is a custom version only sold by Frankonia, a franco-german company. It starts out as a SP01 and a couple of changes and add-ons (like aluminum grip panels, a different rear sight, maybe some Angus Hobdell inspired CZ custom shop trigger parts, etc). Here's a link to the vendor's web site (for those who speak French Cool By the way, the web site says they are sold out, it must have been a limited edition that everybody liked.

If I were in the US I think I would want to look at the CZ Custom Shop Single Action model before making a final decision.

Thanks Wink! I might be interested in a "target" CZ75 if it had fully adjustable target type sights. The Custom shop link you posted shows Novak sights that I do not believe are fully adjustable. I might just have to find a S&W 952!
Peter.

Your wish is CZ's command:

Peter, you've got to stop looking for excuses not to buy one! S&W? Not even close.

Damn, Wink, where do you find this stuff? Nice looking gun. Now I just need to find a distributor to sell it to me for less than MSRP. Having said that, the S&W does have a reputation for accuracy!

Peter, you might try Angus Hobdel. He is a distributor for all CZ pistols and sometimes has some very good deals.

Thanks Larry, I will. I sent CZ an email but have heard nothing back in several days.
