Does anyone know where I can get a bracket to mount a red dot sight on this pistol. I have seen them for Glocks and other semi-autos but I can't find it for the Sig. Thanks | ||

There are typically two types of mounts for the 1911. One is a separate grip panel that has a mount as an integral part of it. The other involves screwing a bracket to the frame. Again, the mount is part of this. This, of course involves fairly serious mods. to the frame (three screw holes) which most people outside of Bullseye and IPSC shooters are reluctant to do. I have not seen a grip as above for the Sig, but I suspect that one of the 1911 scope mounts would probably work for the Sig 220. I have one as well as a 220 so I will check for you. Can I ask why you want to do this? My Sig P220 is very accurate, but the trigger is not the best. Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee.
