Butchloc:

Sorry to change the subject, but IIRC you mentioned that you had the new little Sig 238 in a previous thread. I just noticed on the Sig site that there is a safety recall on this pistol. I thought you might want to know if you did not already.

Butchloc, looks like you will have to get one yourself and let us know! I have too many 45s to want another one, but I always like accurate 45s! Your Sig 238 looks like a winner. What is the trigger like? My 220 trigger leaves something to be desired.
Peter.

The latest "Guns" magazine has a review of this gun. 12 round capacity, accessory rail under the barrel, 2" 5 shot 20 yard groups.

I look forward to it. Also your comments on the replaceable back straps.
Peter.

peter i played with it a bit last night. changed the grip straps to see what they were like. according to the book they are for large medium or small hands. i have fairly large hands, and found the grip to be very comfortable buy large even with the small insert. most of the difference between the straps seemed to be the arch, and liking the old straight 1911 best i ended up with the small insert being the straightest. it comes apart like a gluck, the trigger is long and a bit spongy, but not to heavy. livable at least. overall it seems to be very similar to a xd. we'll see how it shoots this weekend
