Due to all my accidents and operations I've discovered I can"t operate my semi any more. So I ordered a wheel gun this afternoon a Tarus SS-5 Can you tell me the good and bad about this revolver ? I've already paid the money ,I'm stuck so be positibe if you can.

I think the taurus guns are a good deal for the $$. are they target cometitive quality, probably not. But great for hunting and plinking, or just to carry in the woods.

Taurus, like most brands, have a lifetime warranty of sorts. It's a good brand, but take it out and shoot it! The only problem I've ever had was timing in the cylinder cycle, and you could see that in dry firing (it would lock the hammer up on it's draw back, you could make it happen on que with the pistol leaning right and rapidly firing). Good weapon, just go shoot it, they fixed my wife's for shipping and handling 4 years after she purchased it and the timing went off.
