Anyone with any personal experience with these?
Thanks, Peter.

Not yet. I bought one about a month ago and haven't had the chance to shoot it. I bought it simply because I like the fact I can carry it cocked and locked. If it's as accurate as my 226 & 229 I'll be happy.

Damn DEC, you've had it a month and haven't shot it yet? The gun rags seem to think it is impressively accurate but I would like to see some hard evidence. I get rather tired ot their "called fliers" etc. etc.

I know, my bad Frowner

But in my own self defense in the last couple of months I've also bought and outfitted a Remington 700VLSS in .223 with the thumbhole stock and a Leupold 6.5-20x50mm, a Kimber 8400 Tactical in .308 with a Burris 6.5-20x50, a 22lr Ruger Charger and finally....a Bushmaster BA50- 50BMG with a Leupold MK4 6.2-20x50.

So I have been kinda busy lately Big Grin

Actually I've worked up loads for the Remington and Kimber so they're good to go. The Ruger gets whatever factory 22lr ammo I can find at wallyworld and I've shot factory ammo in the Bushmaster, although I'm still gathering components for it to reload. Damn it's expensive to shoot!

As far as the Sig, I haven't shot it yet Frowner When I do I'll post my results. This weekends out since my youngest daughter is getting married. I've posted pictures of the 50BMG in another section, if you'd like to see the other firearms I'll be happy to post pictures of them too.

Yep, at least three of them. Here's a link to the one I've got. http://www.kimberamerica.com/rifles/tactical/8400_tactical/

Any reason why you got the Kimber rather than one of the other "tacticals" available eg. Tikka, FN etc?
Peter.

Sorry for the late reply.
Actually there was no particular reason other than I checked all of the specs and it has what I want.
