I recently purchased a lightly used Springfield XD-M Elite pistol for goofing around purposes, and I'm finding the medium backstrap that came on the pistol is just a tad too big for my (apparently small and girlish) hands. I contacted Springfield about getting a small one, hoping they'd just send it to me for free, and they want like $10 + shipping. Roll Eyes

I wanted to appeal to the lot of you here for some of your generosity - does anybody have a small backstrap for a full size XD-M or XD-M Elite they're not using and would be willing to part with? Let me know and I can figure out how to get it here. Many thanks!

I could have one.

But if I do it is 2000 miles away. But then it might be on the pistol as I like small grips also

If you don't find one contact me in May and I'll be able to look then.

Clayman, I am retired + on social security, thus a limited income, but I must say that $10.00 won't break the bank if you really need it to make your piece functional for you. I would just pay the 10 bucks + move on. I know that asking here 1st was a good move, but I would not let that prolong your buying the one you require.

It's not the money, per se; of course I have 10 bucks. It's the fact there are probably a million of these silly plastic pieces sitting uselessly in people's parts bins (including mine) they'll never need. The fact Springfield Armory is going to nickel and dime me for the same thing is a tad goofy.
