Was watching Dangerous Game with Jeff Rann hunting eles. Anybody know the make of his double?

In an earlier show he noted that it was a left hand Royal.

Unless Rann has changed lately, his H&H rifle is a 500/465NE, not a 577!

Mac, I can only confirm that the last several shows that I recorded, he id'd the rifle he was using as a 577 H&H Royal.

Oh yea, the 500/465 has a set of .300 Super barrels...he must have at least two. I saw a show where he shot a Brown Bear with the .300

Thanks Antlers, I have never seen one of his TV shows but i knew that he had been useing a H&H 500/465NE for years! I hope added the 577NE double,and he didn't get rid of the 500/465NE double with it's second set of barrels for the 300 Super, and go only with the 577NE double rifle. I would have loved to have owned the two barrel set H&H he's used for years!

He is a man of good taste if he shoots a 500/465! :
