I have an Army and Navy Double Rifle that I would like to research its history. So far I know it was sold to the Admiralty in 1917. Anyone have any idea if I can find any documents of where the gun went or who it was transferred to from the Admiralty? Does the Admiralty have any archeives that are accessible?

The University of Glasgow has all the Army & Navy Co-operative Society records.

It's a place to start. They might be able to tell you who built it and who they sold it too.

Thanks Steve, Univ of Glasgow is the first place I started. I would like to go further with the info they gave me, but I'm stuck with getting more info from the Admiralty Dept.
