The latest I have seen is that Remington has given up on bringing it in and it is back to a Baikal proposition. But I have not seen official confirmation of that.

I spoke to Remington just before christmas, they were dissapointed that they did not have them yet. Latest was that they were expecting them towards the end of 2006.

Pretty sure there was one on display at the NRA show in houston recently. Now whether that one actually was mechanically sound/ready for production is up for discussion. I would definitely buy one though if they ever come out.
