Seems like a very big price for a black powder gun from a relatively unknown secondary maker. I saw and H&H blackpowder hammer gun for the same price recently somewhere on the internet.

I've never handled an Allport and don't know much about them. Seems to have been a respected maker and is rumoured to have made most of his own guns.

Looks like a nice gun, but spendy for a UL BPE. And the Greener safety - el double yucko man!
