It will help to know where you are from so that available powders can be suggested.

I'm open to suggestions as to bullet, powder, primer. So far, I'm happy with hornady brass. I was hoping this rifle would work for boar out to 150 yards. Does that sound reasonable?

Standard 286 grain loads are perfect for that.

Tried norma factory 286 loads. Rt barrel gives 2 to 3 inch group about 3 or 4 inches lft of center. Lft barrel gives 4 inch plus group about the same, and a little higher off to the right. this is at 50 yards, standing rest, rt barrel, then lft. Norma vulkan 232 does just a bit worse. Test target says that is what it was regulated for.I've found one load using woodliegh 250 pp running in the mid 2300s. Rt barrel shoots around an inch plus change, lft barrel stays at about 3 inches . Once again, this is 50 yards, and cross over is about 3 inches. I,m waiting for merkel service to get back to me as to how to adjust regulation. If this grouping seems normal, I'll stick with this load. If someone thinks it should do better, I'll keep trying.

One more thing, left chamber is slightly larger than rt. Is this normal on a doouble rifle

No, and the fact that 3 inches seems to be the best you've gotten from the left, it makes me wonder if it's a problem. A double can only be as accurate as it's worst barrel, and 3 inches at 50 yards isn't very good. I'd shoot it with the factory load it was regulated with again. If the left is still throwing large groups, I'd discuss this with the US distributor, and probably request a replacement. I don't consider that standard of accuracy acceptable in a new rifle.

If you p.m. me your e-mail, I will send you a copy of the regulation instructions. I've successfully regulated my 141 to shoot several loads/weights/etc. to a couple of inches at 100 yards.

I have settled on a load with my Tikka 512 of 60gr or RE15 and the 250Nos.BT. Will try some Accubonds next.
Guy I bought the rifle from, found some more brass and load data and sent to me. He said best load was 60gr or RE15 also. Great minds think alike!!
It will group under 2" at 100yds.
