Plan to bid on Browning hunting ammo being sold in England at auction, total of 240 rounds. DR calibre not offered here. How do I import it? I have no FFL. Anyone know a licensed importer who could bring it in? Probably not economic to to make a separate application, might be better to piggyback it onto a bigger order by someone else.

Just a few points of advice:

*Yes, you will need someone with an FFL that allows for importation (this is not a run of the mill FFL).
*Your costs will include the FFL fee, whatever he charges you for shipping (you cannot get invoiced yourself from a shipping company in this situation even if you have an account).
*You will need to pay his brokerage fees (this is the charge a licensed customs broker will charge him for the entry paperwork).

The last two points will add significantly to the price per round. Brokerage is usually $100.00 for a freight shipment--which is a different mode from giving it to an express carrier like the guys driving white trucks with orange and purple lettering.

Best luck. Details of how you end up doing this would be welcome.
