Has anyone worked up some loads using R-15 and 570 grain bullets for 500N.E. (3 inch)?

I recall seeing 96 gr RE15 w/Woodleigh 750 gr softs listed somewheres.

My Merkel 500NE regulates with 96 grains RL 15 pushing 570gr Woodies.

I use the same load. I also use a Kynoch wad cut in half. Don't know if it's necessary, but it works.

Guys, What kinda velocities are you getting with I presume 24 inch barrels on the Merkel, etc. using 96 grains of R-15
