Since he doesn't have any history, good or bad and not having returned emails I'd run the other way!
There'll be another one sooner or later.

didnt you just buy a 470? What about that Chapuis Dale had? That was a great deal? I think you have been flying upside down too much lately and are starting to loose it!

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! Why is this a good deal? It doesn't seem like it to me.

MacD I thought I had seen some here on this forum for less, not that long ago. Perhaps I was wrong. I can see spending nearly $10K for a 470 or so, but not for a 9.3x74R when you can get a Chapuis for a lot less. Just MHO.
Peter

It was tied up with customs (may still be?) so when I got home and bought the 470,Dale let me off the hook. Said he would not have a problem moving that rifle.

Now comes the Merkel 160 (which was my first true 9.3 love). I have a short history with these as Ken at Kebco put up with my tire kicking for months about one and possibly this exact rifle. It was before my Safari so I never pulled the trigger. Now Safari is over and I have a little change rattling in my pocket! jumping

Rusty, you are too kind! I wouldnt be able to sleep at night worrying about putting a scratch on her!!

Al;l that depends if you want a SIDE LOCK, 9.3X74R double rifle with TWO UNDERLUG, and ONE CROSSBOLT locking system and SELECTIVE EJECTORS or a 9.3X74R double rifle with ONE LUG locking system, BOXLOCK and EXTRACTORS!
