I've seen several come and go in the past few years--all for less than 100$. I have my copy and love it.

Why is it that this book seems to get people to ask ridiculous prices - not sure if they get them but I have seen a few over time go for over $300 ?

I have the book and if you compare it to others on DR's, not that much is in it.

Any comments ?

IMO there's a big difference between what is asked for an item and what they actually get for it.

you may not get that price today, but there have been several sold for more than $300! This is like other books that are out of print, when they are no longer available the price goes up. The "TROPHY ROOM BOOKS" the publisher of that series of books sent me a letter offering me $300 for my pristene copy of the first issue. You can bet if he was offering me $300 for my copy, he was going to sell it for considerably more! I didn't sell it to him, but collectors wanted that first copy, and were asking for it, after none were available anymore!

I also have a copy of Grey's book, along with the correction page. That correction page mkes the book worth $200 more than without it! There is not accounting for collector pricing!

Copyright 1994! As far as I know there was only one edition, but I have no idea of the number of copies printed!

I got my copy from my wife for my 59th birtday April 1995

My copy still has the ERRATA sheet correcting a mistake by the publisher on page 144

Tony the reference to the TROPHY ROOM BOOKS below had nothing to do with Gray's book,it was just a illustration of how the value to collectors goes up once there are no copies left on the market.
