Got some history back about my H&H and the first buyer was the ARMY & NAVY Store. Is it possible that these guys had a ledger also ? would have been cool to see who the "real" first owner was. Can anyone give me some direction ?

The Army and Navy ledgers are kept with one of the major universities in Scotland. I thought it was University of Scotland, perhaps it is U of Glasgow, or U of Edinburgh??
They are quite easy to work with, generally not the detail of Factory Ledgers. Many military officers bought guns in distant lands from A&N.
I will ask a couple friends to confirm.
