I haven't seen a new Krieghoff for at least a year. Are they still being made/imported? Cabelas used to carry lots of them but seems that they don't now.

The Krieghoff website says yes and I would kill to have a Krieghoff Gold Imperial.

I take the lack of comments to mean that no one else has seen any new K guns out their either.

That is my point; you now might see one few and far between whereas a couple of years ago, they were far more widely stocked. The economy?

Nah! They just can't build them fast enough! What is a Gold Imperial? Sounds just up my street.

Peter, it's an upgrade to a Safari model....full sideplates, very nice wood, engraving, etc. Go to the Bass Pro website, and find Krieghoff rifles. Or check on Guns International. It's in 500 NE.

Took a look. Nice looking gun but too high for me! BTW does the "pistol grip" look rather extreme to you?

Hello

Check out Alamo Sporting (TX) ? They are a K dealer.
Then there is Du Pont Krieghoff in FL.
They all show there inventory online.
Remember the firt 2 letter of the serial are the date made eg. 02615 (2002 gun number 615)

That should let you know how many new guns are out there.

I think they are the 2 biggest dealers in the USA.

I wonder if Cabelas quit stocking K and M in favour of S, maybe they shot them selves in the foot !

That is what I was thinking that Cabelas quit stocking K and M guns in favor of S, as I never see them in Cabelas any more, and I visit a lot of them. Bad move, considering what has happened. Checked Alamo; they do have a few K guns, all starting with a "10". At du Pont, they mostly start with 08.
