really nice work.

reminds me of a style you don't see often today - ALT DEUTSCHER BLATT - old German leaves. a style that was popular circa 1900 and seldom seen today. it takes a good engraver to do this fine work.

I have several older German double guns, and most have this kind of enraveing on them, but mostly oak leaves. I have always liked this style, and my other favorite is the scroll& rose engraveing of the Brits. Animals are OK if done properly, and appropreate to the chambering of the rifle. Gold inlays I can do without!

That is a beautiful Heym! What is the chambering, and is it in your store, or a factory picture?

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.
