Anyone has reloading experience with Swift A-Frame 500 grain bullets in 470 NE? Reason for asking is that my local dealer has two boxes with these, probably some years old, and just wants to get rid of them. I have used A-Frame bullets in other (smaller...) calibres, and find them to be superb hunting bullets. Usually these are loaded with less powder than traditional cup-and core bullets due to the stiff construction. I would assume that a smaller powder charge should be used on A-Frames than for example Woodleigh RN SN also in 470 NE? Hunting experience with Swift A-Frame in 470 NE?

I have used them with 416 Remington mag & 500 NE. Loved them. Great performance.

I have shot some out of my Heym 470,but I do not anymore, the solid midsection gives me pause for thought,it might be hard on a DR,it is an excellent bullet & I still use them in other firearms. DRSS
