I have the oppertunity to purchase a 475 #2 double rifle made by"H. mahillon Bruxelles". It comes with Kynoch Loaded ammo I'm guessing from the 1960's and kynoch berdan primed empties. Any Information about the maker ,source for Berdan primers #172,reloading ,are Kynoch cases worth the trouble to reload, etc. will be appriciated. The bore is .483 I was told to be careful not to shoot Jeffrey ammo with .488 bullets. What are good brand of boxer primed brass if I can't find berdan primers? Good brands of bullets? I've never owned a double a family friend has had it since I was little and I always admired it. Thanks!

My Kynoch brass (450-400 3 1/4 and 450 3 1/4) all came with Kynoch primers, about a thousand, so I'm set there. I reload with the aid of a little tool a friend made to deprime. Very simple tool. This brass shoots as well as boxer brass, although I'm told that case life is not as long. Dutch

I believe that RWS makes a compatible Berdan primer. Dutch
