WE're in Cape Town, leaving tomorrow afternoon for the long trip back to Houston. I had a great hunt with Katte, details to follow when I get back. My wife Sally keeps talking about coming back. This was a learning/management hunt with Katte, and I took 2 hartebeest and 2 wildebeest with the Hollis 450-400. I wasn't pleased with a few shots and we lost one of the hartebeest after a long tracking and rains came and washed away the tracks. This was my first real hunt with iron sights and I definitely need to practice my shooting more past 50 yds.

Katte's Good Hope ranch was spectacular. We say quality animals constantly. We stalked rhino up to 40 yards or so for photos. The accomodations, staff, wildlife, scenery were all first class.

I'll follow with pictures and more details when I get back. Bob

Thanks for the hunt it was wonderful having you and Sally at Good Hope. Enjoyed the stalks and seeing "Mr Hollis" taking animals at close range. Hope to see you soon!
