Searcy PH Model Left Hand 470 Nitro Express with ejectors, shipped out on April 2006 to an AR member. He sold her to me two months ago. She fits perfectly. Comes up fast with the sights lined up and ready to go.

Mine will be here in a week, or LESS!!

Got Butch's load data and twenty rounds of WR ammunition for it; as well as sixty-two once-fired cases and fifty each, Woodleigh Softs and Solids. Should be enough to get me to Africa April 8th.

Only #3 is a fatal flaw.

#1 and #2 are the way things should be done.
Let right handers adapt to a left-handed world for awhile.

Very pretty rifle. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from it.

Use a double rifle. It just feels better.

I just picked up a Searcy 450-400 double rifle, made in 2006 and a one owner gun. I'm very happy with it, just like you are!

Biebs, we're gonna need a full report, preferably with pictures. Congratualtions!

Muletrain,
You were not just "kicking tires"...
I posted a picture of my 2006 LH Searcy 470 PH and you said you were leaning towards a Searcy.
Man...you found it's twin!!! I think you will be most happy with your choice, as they are great shooters. Mine shoots Butch's regulation load of IMR4831 and Woodleighs.
I'm going to roll an Eland with it, in a few weeks. Then a friend called tonight and said he has a pissed off buffalo (Oklahoma, not Cape) that has torn his feed truck all to hell. He wants to film me shooting it and guarenteed a charge. Eeker Kinda scares me, but I think I'll do it anyway. I'm getting older now and better get one of these under my belt before I die.

Beautiful gun, you have there! I hope you build lots of great hunts with it.

Sounds like fun. If I lived closer I would offer to come stand next to you when you go do it.
