I have been to his site and for a while now it has a message that he has no inventory to sell??? I wonder what is up with that as he has always had lots of stuff listed, seems a bit unusual!

He's going out of business, except for a few high-dollar pieces now & then - that's the story I got from a friend of his. I've been told he has some serious health problems.

I have been told he has Lou Gerhig's disease ...... I, too, have bought a couple guns from him.

Thad Scott passed away in early 2009 of Lou Gerhigs disease. He was a good guy. A nice article about him in the 3rd volume of the 2009 double gun journal.
