As some of you know Dirk Schimmel is Butch Searcy's chief gunsmith. Once every couple of years he completes a rifle of his own. The last he sold to Adam Clements. He's got another for sale. Dirk doesn't have very reliable internet access and has asked me to help with posting. This rifle is a beauty and I've listed it in the classifieds for him here. I'll leave it here for a week before I put it out on the gun sale sights. It's over in the Classifieds if you are interested. I don't know how to link the classified add here. Could one of you guys help me out and put the link up here for me. Thanks. Here is a teaser..

Agreed. Wood is great, but $16K is a little steep I think. The standard Searcy's have some pretty decent wood as well. Peter Be without fear in the face of your enemies. The price is irrelevant except to the fellow who is thinking of getting it. Typically in that price range you do not get a rifle with all polished internals.

Peter, Get a clue dude. This rifle is NOT comparable to a "standard" (PH model) Searcy. The deluxe grade Searcy sells for $18,000 this rifle has all of the same bells and whistles plus some and is $1500 cheaper. This is one hell of a nice rifle.
