I am assembling all of the necessary .577 reloading equipment/components. One question that I have, what do people use to trim cases? I have a Forster Classic that works for everything including my .500 NE, but it will not work with the .577. What is secret?

Maybe time to have someone make you up a trim die for your press?

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Mike,

I bought a Lyman trimmer and made a larger cutter for it. You might be able to find a machinist to make you one. Trim dies work too. You probably won't need to worry too much about trimming anyway.

I had a friend make me a larger cutter like Sam did. It works great. I got the idea out of Grame wrights book.

CH Tool may make a trimmer to fit the larger cases. I also have a trim die for the .600 but have not used it yet as the brass does not stretch at such low pressures. The bore rifle cases don't move at all--even with 100+ reloads.
