Gentlemen:

I am shooting my 500 NE in preparation for my 2 safaris later in the year. I imagine I will shoot between 150 and 200 times in preparation. I do not reload. I am keeping the brass to give away. If you would like some, PM me. It is yours for the asking. First come, first served.

I have 26 right now. I hope to make that 50 by Monday.

If you ever acquire a .475 No 2 Eley (.483 diameter) I'll be happy to collect your brass. I'll even come to your range and pick it up off the ground. Thanks, Larry.

Why is that? I have given away brass from 500 NE, 458 Lott and 416 Remington before. I gave away over 1,000 DVD's and a tanned sable cape. All here on AR. Note the term GAVE away.

I do have 26 fired rounds. I am going to send 20 of them and the rather useful box they are in to Biebs today. I attempted to shoot again on Sunday but got to the range too late. I am so busy now that can only I hope to get to go again this weekend.

To the contrary. Larry is as generous as anyone I know. Even to rank strangers.

If he says he's giving you brass, you're getting once fired brass shipped to your door on his dime.

I agree completely. He sent me a DVD of his hunt all the way to India. An extremely generous gesture!

I have a grand total of 6 empty cases right now. I hope to shoot again this weekend. Every time I get 20, I am going to send them to the next person on the list. Please PM me your address if you haven't.

I sent the first 20 to Biebs earlier this week.

Sorry I do not have more at the moment. My workload is extreme right now. Hard to get away to shoot.

I am shooting some that Superior loaded for me. These are reduced loads. I am also shooting some Hornady factory loads with the DGX bullet. I am probably shooting 1 Hornady round for every 4 of the Superior rounds.

I think I have mailed out 180 rounds including the rounds sent today.

I am super busy right now but hope to get out again on Sunday afternoon. I will have to look . There is at least 1 ahead of you on the list. Send me your address.

Larry, the Trail Boss reduced loads were a lot of fun to shoot. No recoil at all.

If you'd like, I'll load some and send them to you!

Do you know what velocity the Superior reduced loads are producing? Mike Jines chronographed the Trail Boss loads this past weekend and I think the average was somewhere around 965fps with a 570gr bullet. Very tame!

Thanks again for the Brass and the DVD's. I've watched them several times now. Good stuff as I always enjoy watching fellow hunters adventures!

Todd:

I am not sure. They shoot a 525 grain bullet. There is some recoil but it isn't all that bad. Supposedly they have been developed to shoot close to the same POI as a normal load. Shooting clay pigeons, ritz crackers and the like, they seem to shoot about the same place as the full loads. I have not shot on paper. I only do that when sighing in.

I have shot 120 targets loads and 60 full loads.
