Had the pleasure of meeting 577NitroExpress tonight, and I feel like we are old friends! We ate, drank, and shot the breeze for a couple of hours and the best part is that he lives a stones throw from me!

Paul, it was great meeting you and I hope we can get together soon and kill some animals! beer

I do not know about a 700, but we had a fella with a 600OK [if I remember correctly], at one of our DRSS Hunts. He is a poster here but he shall remain nameless.

One day he and I were shooting together. He shot a tree [a hard mesquite tree] and about a cord and a half of wood blew back and knocked me down. shocker

+1, Dont know the Grandfather but Im certain he is a fine fellow as well!

Whitworth, when you get a chance to shoot that 577 pull the aft trigger first!! I was standing behind one of the members when he doubled that beast! He was a trooper and held on but when he turned around he looked dazed as if Tyson just gave him an uppercut!

Whitworth, when you get the chance to shoot the .577. Shoot it the right way, right barrel first. Just DO NOT drag the back trigger when you do.

I had no problems when I go to dance with the Hawk's "fat girl". rotflmo Caution, she WILL lead that dance.

rotflmo Tony certainly has a way of recounting his experiences! Listening to his story telling popcorn is one on my fondest memories at past DRSS gatherings. animal

Hog killer is right but maybe concider for that first experience just loading one round. Once you see what its all about you should be fine. I fired that baby and it wasnt that bad but there is no doubt something significant just took place! shocker

Ok, ok, ok....let me just clarify something here.

That tree was CHARGING!

I mean, man, he was moving!

What did you expect me to do? Stand there and get "stumped?"

Now way; I took that shot and that sum' bitch toppled right over. And I'd do it again in a heart beat!

Marko, it was indeed a pleasure and I look forward to getting together with you many more times in the future, my friend!

Doc52's the Grandfather! Retreever met my son when the three of us met up with him at Cabela's when I bought the Francotte. Afterwards we all went to a hotdog place and Ewan, my son, climbed on "Big Mike" and told him that he loved him. My boy is a good judge of people thumb

Are you talking about Paul?! Are you sure you did not go to a neighbor's house by mistake?!

Just kidding, Paul is a good man and great company. [Paul, I do think that they somehow have confused the warnings that have been issued about getting you around women when you have a woody with all this confusing talk about getting you around trees. Wink]
