Beautiful rifle, and well worth the $8900 price! I have one question though, why is the picture of the rifle in a case below in this post? That is an O/U double with a straight grip, and has nothing to do with the S/S Manton Double rifle! ....Mac >>>===(x)===> MacD37, ...and DUGABOY1 DRSS Charter member "If I die today, I've had a life well spent, for I've been to see the Elephant, and smelled the smoke of Africa!"~ME 1982 Hands of Old Elmer Keith

Now this is a rifle that I don't mind spending the money on, even it is not my favorite caliber. Malek Good hunting/shooting and God's best Best regards Malek Good Hunting/Shooting and God's best.

I looked hard at this one. If I wasn't double poor it would be in my safe. Great caliber for American game. With good bullets anything goes.

Is anyone able to tell me who made the rifles for Manton & Co, or what actions they were made on?
