Wondering if any of you Pedersoli or Sabatti double rifle owners have worked up good black powder and cast bullet loads for your guns. I'm thinking you could get them to regulate by tuning the bullet weights, as there are so many available in .458-9, from under 300 grains to about 600.

There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.

I don't think that you will be able to shoot BP and get the gun to regulate, you will not be able to achieve the velocities needed for it to work, shooting cast bullets is not a problem,I have done so in one of my DR's with no problem, just my two cent Big Grin
