Just got it back from Ken to whom I had lent it for demo purposes among other things and decided to take a few new photos for my own enjoyment and to share them with you.

Hey Paul,

Nice pics, and I took due note of the CEB BBW#13 bullets. I have always liked the Ele head engraved on the underside of your rifle: very well done!

Thanks Cal and Todd.

I wish I could make it to DSC or SCI - it would be a true honor to catch up with you two and Don and so many others with whom I've swapped experiences and stories.

Stay well - all of you - we have much more to share, safaris to experience and memories to make!

Paul

Hi Doc
Is that the 22 that you downed your elephant with? I don’t know where I put them Darn glasses; I thought those cartridges looked a bit big for a 22, but without my glasses I could not tell. Wink Big Grin

I like the rifle a lot, but that elephant is a nice piece of art.

Merry Christmas and many like it under your tree.

Best regards

On a serious note I like the cartridge holder. It allows you to get your fingers under the cartridge for quick extraction.

Hope father Christmas is listening.

I prefer the open tip ammo carriers as well. Can't stand the closed tip variety.

Thanks everyone.

I am blessed in so many ways but most importantly on nights like tonight when I'm surrounded by family. 19 of us together around the table. What could be better?

I'd like to head back to Africa this time with more of my family - my pop, my brother and my daughter at least - and to use that 600 as it was intended. Elephant, hippo, Cape buffalo, eland, kudu, and whatever else we choose to hunt. Lion if that is still possible. All with the 600NE.

Stay well my friends and Merry Christmas

Where did you get those brass 20 gauge shells in your shell holder?

Wink

Bought a bunch of BELL brass from an AR member a few years ago and another AR member was kind enough to get some of it nickel-plated for me.

Recently acquired some more BeLL brass in that same odd "20 gauge" caliber from yet another AR member and should have plenty of brass to last a while

Cool
