Hello I need a little help. I'm having trouble with GunBroker, there's a awesome double rifle in there that I *have* to buy. The rifle's in Idaho and I'm in California....any suggestions or help would be much appreciated! BTW it's a 12-bore!

You are going to need to find a "friend" in Idaho Cool

Is it even legal for you to own such a weapon in the great state of Kalifornia?

Good luck

Metalsmith! You can't let GunBroker stop you. Contact the seller and figure it out. Send him the funds and have the seller send the rifle to Duncans. How's the .800 project coming?

I live in Idaho, near Boise. Get some info on the rifle, and I will go look it over for you.

Crap, it was a cape gun, 16gax12-bore. It was on Gunbroker as a antique firearm, item 78842350. I was interested at first because the bidding was at only $125. He has plenty of pictures and I was admiring the rifled barrel too much to take heed and realize the smooth bore of the right barrel. Guess that's what old age does to you?! I'm not really interested anymore, if anyone else is than please take a look! It's a nice firearm, it's a Husqavana cape gun double.
As far as the .800, this is going to sound kinda funny but I'm staying back tonight and building a prototype double for the rifle however it's going to be much smaller and chambered for the .22lr. I'll let you know how it goes, but I figure get that out of the way to understand the schematics a bit more and to see if I need to make any mechanical changes. Than it's gonna get supersized! As far as the prototype, I'm not sure where I'm going to get the barrels but I'm going to make it into a double .22lr, probably get it registered than sell the rifle after the .800 is complete. I didn't realize how much work it was going to be, but my god is it fun and rewarding!
